Now we are proud to present its continuation, The Papers of Lee Kuan Yew: Speeches, Interviews and Dialogues (1990–2011). These new volumes cover Lee Kuan Yew’s tenures as senior minister and minister mentor, starting with Lee’s interview with Nippon Hoso Kyokai (NHK) on 18 December 1990 and ending with his speech at NTUC’s 50thanniversary dinner on 13 May 2011, chronicling Lee’s political statements and thoughts as the nation went through significant changes and crises, such as the Asian financial crisis of 1997, the SARS outbreak of 2003, and the intense fight against terrorism. Lee stepped down as minister mentor on 21 May 2011.

About Lee Kuan Yew
Lee Kuan Yew (1923– ) is a prominent Singapore statesman. He was the first prime minister of the Republic of Singapore and governed the island nation for three decades(1959–1990). By the time he stepped down to enable a smooth leadership renewal, he had become the world’s longest-serving prime minister. He was Singapore’s senior minister from 1990 to 2004 and then minister mentor from 2004 to 2011. As one of the founders and the first secretary-general of the People’s Action Party, he led the party to eight victories from 1959 to 1990, oversaw the separation of Singapore from Malaysia in1965, and engineered its subsequent transformation from an underdeveloped colonial outpost with no natural resources into a first-world Asian Tiger. He has remained one of the most influential political figures in Southeast Asia.

【北市議員選戰】中山大同區 柯黑議員的一級肉搏戰區
台北市第四選區「中山、大同」區，被稱為是民進黨的傳統大票倉，在素有「天龍國」藍營票倉的台北市內獨樹一格。藍綠雙方在此區勢均力敵，也因為泛綠的意志一致，本區堪稱「柯（柯文哲）黑議員」大本營。
台北市中山大同區應選市議員有 8 席，本屆登記多達 18 人，形成 18 搶 8 戰局，包括國民黨提名 4 人：葉林傳(現任)、陳炳甫(現任)、林亭君(現任)，王浩；民進黨提名 4 人：顏若芳(現任)、梁文傑(現任)、王世堅(現任)、陳怡君。
親民黨提名 1 人林國成(現任)；時代力量提名 1 人林亮君；新黨提名 1 人蘇恆；中華民族致公黨提名 1 人王鴻芸；樹黨提名 1 人潘翰疆；公民黨提名 1 人楊仟慧；另有無黨籍的４人杜彩菊、張東隆、黃麗香、林婕麗，希望殺出重圍。
根據參選人在上屆獲得的選票數分析，台北市中山大同區的藍綠選票各擁半邊天，8 席市議員裡面，民進黨拿下 4 席；藍營也搶下 4 席，但分配席次為國民黨 3 席，親民黨 1 席。藍、綠的選民意識形態，在中山大同區可以說是相當明顯，過去無黨籍想異軍突起，機率比較低。不過在台北市長柯文哲以「政治素人」身分立足於市府後，第三種勢力是否可以劃開藍綠界線，值得觀察。
由於本區是民進黨在台北市的深綠大票倉，意識形態特別團結，願意積極配合黨中央運作，全力支持姚文智，與大力抨擊柯文哲，導致民進黨在本區提名的 4 名參選人當中，有 3 人被網友列名在「柯黑議員」名單，3 人分別為：梁文傑、顏若芳、王世堅。

雖說鄉民在網路上串聯，要在這次選舉抵制「柯黑議員」，讓他們通通落選，但民進黨在中山大同區勢力龐大，如果以上次 3 人所獲得的選票數來看：梁文傑 26,155 票、顏若芳 26,079 票、王世堅 25,102 票，三人分別拿下本區的「前三高」票數，實力堅強，鄉民能在本區如何抵制「柯黑議員」，確實是相當的挑戰。
至於藍營方面，雖然國民黨支持丁守中，不支持柯文哲，但國民黨上次在中山大同區，也拿下第四到第六高票，藍營選票同樣不可小覷，上次得票數依序是：葉林傳 21,531 票、陳炳甫 19,808 票（陳玉梅的弟弟，為政治交棒）、林亭君 17,103 票（林晉章的姪女，政治交棒），陣容也非常堅強。
藍綠在中山大同區勢均力敵，但外界觀察，仍有新人出線的機會。親民黨市議員林國成連續兩屆吊車尾，成為藍營與其他陣營想要力爭的一席。國民黨本屆派出曾歷任四屆市議員的老將王浩，希望替藍營再搶進一席市議員；新黨則派出 1985 年出生的年輕女將蘇恆，希望以年輕人參政的姿態，取代林國成和王浩。

在綠色選票部分，民進黨內部初選民調中，將現任市議員黃向群擠下馬來，獲得民進黨中央提名的新人陳怡君，是最為外界驚訝的一匹黑馬。陳怡君曾任民進黨台北市黨部執行長，為黨內「正國會」的深綠黨員，外界認為不可能支持柯文哲的「兩岸一家親」言論。但陳怡君在獲得黨中央提名後，直接接收黃向群的選票基礎，再加上前市議員簡余晏這次力挺陳怡君，兩人合照看板在選區隨處可見，即便她是未來的「準柯黑」，可能也無損其實力。
不過綠營內部也出現微妙變化，年輕人選票似乎慢慢流向時代力量。時代力量在本次選舉派出 1989 年生的林亮君，她甚至被網友封為「島國女神」，正是「小綠」企圖吸走「大綠」年輕選票的代表人物之一。除了綠營選票，可能還有「白色力量」選票，因為柯文哲在八月 30 日到文昌宮跑地方行程時，還曾邀請林亮君同台合唱，林亮君是否能替時代力量搶下一席，值得觀察。

這次第三政黨及無黨籍參選人所派出的人選中，也有不少是優秀人選，讓本屆台北市中山大同區的市議員之戰，顯得精彩奪目。不過，在「挺柯」、「反柯」兩派力量拉扯之下，「柯黑議員」這份黑名單，是否能在中山大同區發酵與兌現，可能是不少民眾最想知道的答案。
